All work done on the task and time taken should be filled in on the Work Log associated with the ticket. This should be completed after each period of work to act as a a progress report should not just be done at the end of working on a task. It should give sufficient details that all team members can see what was done and why if there is a particular reason for some process.

On a completed task the work log should be providing a clear indication of what has been done on a given task and how long it has taken. In the case of bug fixes there should be a clear explanation of cause and fix so that it can act as a reference if similar issues arise again. On system updates changes ideally the commands used should be included as a reference of how the changes were made should the task need to be repeated.
