Reports Generated from Exports by Stats team
The stats team currently take the extracts the system team produce and create a number of reports. These reports are detailed below:
AKI dataset
AKI datasets are required every quarter for both AKI lab reports and AKI CCG reports; we have roughly 2 months lag in terms of reporting. For example, the latest export we did was at the beginning of June 2019, which we reported data up to Q1 2019 (end of March 2019).
The Stats team receive the quarterly dataset as an .csv, which are traced and populated with date of birth, AKI levels, postcode and NHS numbers (if they are at all available). The traced AKI dataset ( alerts_done_20190603_traced.csv
) in June 2019 is stored here:
\\rr-storage-live\SASCode\Workrequests\ExternalData\WR390 Think Kidneys national audit of AKI\Data\June 2019
When the dataset is ready, Anna should be notified as she will do further cleaning and data manipulation before the data is used for analysis. When the dataset is cleaned, Esther will use this dataset to generate quarterly AKI lab and AKI CCG reports, and email the lab report out to lab representatives, where Julie Slevin will upload the AKI CCG reports to the Think Kidney website.
RADAR datasets
RADAR datasets are currently set to be created every week and made available on https://nww.radar.nhs.uk/admin/exports/; Fiona, Nathan and Esther have access to download these datasets as .csv within a zip file. Fiona will inform the Stats team when she needs the monthly reports and she would check the dataset is good to go (for aHUS and Nurture). These dataset are then stored on the Q drive: Q:\RADAR\Exports
.
- aHUS (with names) Monthly aHUS summary report, this report is usually created by Anna but sometimes by Esther. Fiona then uses/sends out these reports. The current downloads are with names (as it used to be an audit report), but we don’t need the names anymore as we only report summary statistics, so names can be anonymised.
- Nurture INS (with names) Monthly INS missing data report created by Esther. Fiona then uses/sends out these reports.
- INS (with names) This is also used for the monthly INS missing data report. This dataset is required because some of the patients has their Primary Diagnosis recorded via different route – this download provides extra records of diagnosis captured via different route. Fiona then manipulate the spreadsheet and worked out the extra that needs to go into the Nurture INS report and supply an extra .csv for Esther so that the report took these information into account as well. This is a “workaround” as ideally all Nurture INS patients would have their diagnosis records within the Nurture INS download. For more information please ask Fiona.
- Nurture CKD (with names) Monthly CKD missing data report created by Esther. Fiona then uses/sends out these reports.
- Rituximab (anonymous) Two weekly Rituximab missing data report created by Esther; Nathan uses/and sends out these reports to centres.
