Outstanding Tasks@Tim Whitlock
  • Optepro fixes are now deployed to staging but still need testing properly before deploying to live
  • NHSEngland extract has been rebuilt to use a study id. Sample extract needs to be sent to Retha but it should now be ready for regular extracts
  • James has made a start on the automatic tracing script. So far he has built the tracing file extract demographics script.  Once this is completed he will start work on the conversion of the returned tracing file into RDA files for import. George will supply a example RDA structure to use.
  •  George hasn't heard from renalware for some time so no update on the ODS0000 and NHS Numbers being sent through with spaces which are both still happening. In addition now the covid19 schema changes are deployed to staging they can also enable covid19 test feeds to staging to test it. George Swinnerton will follow up and chase.
  • Andrew has been working through the library updates for RadaR as flagged by github as vulnerable. So far RaDaR hasn't broken with the changes. Andrew will document the updates and they should all be completed this week.
  • Covid19 schema changes have been deployed to staging. George will let James know and he can try sending through some test PV files from Leicester to allow testing of the schema on staging before deploying to live.
  • George is currently working on the AKI RAGList update. He will check with Esther that he has the latest lab lists as Retha indicated there had been some recent corrections.
  • George hasn't followed up on the dosage mappping with renalware. The schema has two fields one which has a restricted value list (DoseUoM) and one which is free text (DoesQuantity). Renalware are just putting their dosage information into the free text field and not correctly populating the DoseUoM field. George will follow up with Fiona and confirm what they should be doing then contact renalware to correct. This should then help reolve some of the syncing issues with medications on RaDaR.
  • George hasn't yet looked at the rrstatus generation in pv-extract for the RDA files. This is a derived field that currently isn't being sent to PV for RDA feeds.
  •  The NHSBT files has been fully processed for this quarter after last weeks error.
  • RaDaR syncing is all resolved with the exception of some medication units primarily caused by the way RDA files are being sent. In theory all the identified issues are now sorted.
  • Covid19 weekly reporting. The covid19 reporting is possibly going to change to fortnightly as the numbers are currently dropping. In the mean time James has added lots of unit tests to hopefully capture the various date issues he has been seeing. Date issues are still occurring with DOB in the sqlite database which caused an issue with tracing last week. This will hopefully be resolved this week. The validation code is successfully ensuring that the files load to create a tracing file for new data. Work continues on automation of the processing of the returned tracing file.
 System Statuses
It is important if changing any of the systems UKRDC, PV or RaDaR that they are left in a working state at the end of the day. If an update has prevented a service restarting then the systems team should be informed and the system should be left in a safe state. If it is a Friday then  it is imperative that key systems are not left broken with out ensuring senior management is aware. If you are not sure what may be the consequences of the actions taken then  you should ensure your manager is made aware of the issue.

  • George Swinnertonto let James have a sample RDA structure for the tracing data
