Oxford UKRR ExtractGeorge SwinnertonGeorge mentioned the issues with Oxford had raised about recording diagnoses as SNOMED locally but then exporting them as ERA-EDTA codes. There is a mapping table on the ERA-EDTA website but it appears as if those codes were locally created ones and they haven't been ratified by the SNOMED body. The likely reason for this, according to Afzal, is that the body are not keen on having to have multiple variations of each diagnosis for "histologically proven" / "not histologically proven" etc. There is to be more discussion with Oxford and possibly a call if this can't be resolved.
