  • George will follow up about other renalware items when he contacts them this week.
  • Andrew has made some progress on the automating of the RaDaR tracing. The process to run the trace has now been automated. The next stage is to interpret the out put and provide Kate with the data in Shauns spreadsheet where he chacks names and name order DOB etc. DOD can now be extracted from the RaDaR sync code in the UKRDC it just needs checking to ensure it uses the value in the tracing file even if an incoming feed without a DOD has been received. etc. Andrew will check this is the case and ensure the DOD information from tracing gets included correctly in the RaDaR sync file.
  • The EMPA-KIDNEY extract is awaiting an update of the identifiers which also requires a tweak to the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA). WHen agreeing extracts and the required linkage data we need to be mindful of the most efficent process and ensuring we have the necessary data supplied to make the process efficient.
  • INS App a kickofff meeting has been held and Cirtus will be developing the new INS app. Costs have been the most significant factor in this decision.
  • STARs registry. Andy now has a way to fix the the issue with the drop down using pagination to reduce the amount of data the drop down is trying to show at once. The current code is trying to provide 0.5GB of data to the drop down hence it struggles to process and display this. The api supports pagination so it just needs enabling for this data and UI adpated to handle this. There is still some data to load for ICD codes and then the patient data can be loaded once these tasks are comlete the STARs should be ready to deploy.
  • Validation no progress to report
  • AKI Andre hasn't made much progress this last week but will hopefully complete the UI changes  later this week.
  • RaDaR Andy has started on a bunch a things as a rsult of the RaDaR meeting last week. Tracing for Alfonso, nephwork scripts for anonymising free text and importing PV emails into RaDaR.
International RaDaR Fiona Braddon (UKRR) (Unlicensed) Fiona reminded Tim Alfonso is waiting for database access on international radar
EQUAL StudyRetha SteenkampThe Equal Study needs another linkage for their patients to the 2019 data. This is the same extract as done last year but with the latest data. The patients need tracing and those that started RRT flagged. George will sort this as he ran the code last year.
MauritusTim Whitlock (Deactivated)Adre has started work on the Mauritius project making a django app to allow their paper process to be done via computer. The plan is to provide the code as docker images which should make the upgrade process simpler. Andre is currently putting to gether a toplevel document of the project and building the initial app ready for the containerising.
WebsiteTim Whitlock (Deactivated)The website development is going to change to a new developer due to issues with the current developer and their spiralling costs. The initial kickoff meeting has been had and they are now looking at the site code and putting together a workplan. Essentially the aim is to upgrade to the latest drupal version and fix the issues the current site has. Where possible user experience and flow will be improved.
InfrastructureTim Whitlock (Deactivated)The current AIMEs hosted hardware is obsolete and needs replacing and the plan is to move the servers to a more cloud based design using containerisation wehrever possible to reduce server counts. AIMES have put together  a proposal but it does assume we containerise a number of our current systems which are running on standalone servers so this means as we develop code we should keep this in mind and look at how our code could be containerised.
