Outstanding Tasks

@Tim Whitlock

  • Infrastructure migration. AIMEs have completed the audit and now are replicating the firwewall setup in their new environment. They are currently provisioning the necessary storage. This weeks call has been cancelled and they wil be concentrating on getting the environment setup

  • The whole needs to review the following documents for acccuracy and completeness. /wiki/spaces/MIG/pages/2204532796 /wiki/spaces/MIG/pages/2204303406 and /wiki/spaces/MIG/pages/2198765714. Please add any missing items and documentation where necessary or raise for discussion and issues.

  • No update on the INS App. There is hope they will have some form of working demo by the end of this month.

  • Validation paeds changes continue to be tested by Shaun

  • AKI Andre has created another extract for Anna to check for issues with. Hopefully this wil be the last and the reloaded database should now be complete and as accurate as it can be. Andre is currently awaiting Anna’s feedback.

  • Andy continues with the RaDaR tickets and currently the STAR fixes are on the back burner. He has also done a covid extract for Garry which was ocmplicated by dupicate NHS numbers with different DOBs

  • Andy flagged that there was aticket for the NHSBT about submitting records withthe CHI and HSC numbers attached which he hopes will resolve issues with the Scottish data he will add these numbers and liase with NHSBT in case they need to make changes their end.

Another radar record has two NHS numbers on it that needs resolving.

Penetration testing

Tim Whitlock (Deactivated)

The pen tests are ongoing. The N3 testing started late last week. The internet testing started at the beginning. We have not had any major feedback yet though the internet testers have managed to lock the patientview test accounts a few times.

SQL Backups

Tim Whitlock (Deactivated)

Currently SQLBackups are written to E:\SQLLive\Backups on rr-storage-live. This drive has a fixed size of 400GB. As the databases (AKI and renalreg) have grown the size of the backups have as well so now the backups occupy 141GB (currently) of disk space. This size depends on howmany past backups are held on disk. Currently we are starting to hit points where the combined size uses up all the free space. To resolve this issue we wil start saving the backups to \\rr-storage-live\SQLBackups a separate share. This should free up space on the database drive which is where the two sql servers rr-sql-live and rr-sql-test have their data.

✅ Action items

  • George Swinnerton to look at chaging the backup url for the SQLbackup scripts.
