Nurture

Purpose:

The project is titled NURTuRE, the National Unified Renal Translational Research Enterprise. It is partnered by an industry consortium, and will recruit 3000 CKD and 1000 INS patients over 2 years. This proposal will establish a unique dataset combining detailed temporal clinical data, and routine biochemical data together with a meticulous biosample repository including kidney biopsy cores, plasma, serum, urine and DNA. These are stated priorities by industry collaborators. The data collected and samples analysed will be used to achieve a paradigm shift in mechanism-based stratification.
