RADAR - Nephrotic Syndrome App

This app referred to as INS App is currently some additional input screens in the Patientview App. These additional screens are visible to members of a specific group in Patientview. With the switch to PKB a replacement is required. One of the shortcomings of the current app is it can be in the app store as the INS APP as it is the Patientview App whilst the charity that funded the development of the screens would prefer to have a specific app name. Before the switch it was suggested that the PV app could be re-skinned/branded as a different app to meet this goal. The primary aim of the App is to gather extra data from patients and add it to their RaDaR record. At the time the easiest dataflow was to push it through PV so they could see it in PV. With the switch to PKB it could send the data directly to the UKRDC and be pushed to PKB from there (if required)/pushed by the app to PKB(if required) as well. The ukrdc would sync the data to RaDaR. Ideally any app developed should be in a modular form to allow it to be adapted to support other cohorts in RaDaR by just developing a suitable module with different screens. Whether these apps should also try to present the PKB data as happens in the patientview app remains to be seen.
