Support Issues

Patient queries come through from PKB Support they tend to send through Name and email address. Moving forwards they will include the last 4 digits of the NHS number to help in identifying the correct patient on our systems…especially when the old Patientview site is off.

Typical issues are:

Results not showing but showing on old PV - errors in the PKB send were the cause.

Too many email notifications/notifications about letters etc. - usually this is a reflection of the flaws from the sending site.

Missing results on PKB - so far this has been data not set to us

Password Resets

When a patient needs a pasword reset initiated then you need to login as the coordinator find the patient in UKKA and click reset I usually use the support persons name for the person requesting the reset.

Adding Email to account

Some quirks in the system meant that some sites couldn’t update their patients email to allow them to be sent a logon invitation so you would just find the patient and add their email using the coordinator account. In theory this should not happen now if a site has a coordinator. If we are the only coordinator then we may be c alled on to add the email.
