PKB Release Notes 09/12/2021
Feature updates
Updates to ‘Add Symptoms’ page
We have updated the layout of the ‘Add symptoms’ page to simplify the process of adding symptoms via the user interface. We have added a search function for symptoms and the new ‘Add symptoms’ form enables users to add multiple symptoms at once without requiring the user to have to scroll through the full list to save their symptoms. A small number of symptoms have some accompanying guidance on what constitutes mild, moderate or severe, in cases where we have this information, we now display it on the buttons below the severity.
HL7 ORU R01 radiology reports
If an HL7 ORU R01 radiology report is sent with a least one blank OBX segment, we will now honour this space and show a blank line so it is displayed as intended.
Privacy label updates
Following on from our recent changes to the onboarding screens, we have started to update the privacy labels across the system to use the new format. We are updating the privacy label styling to give users a better visual representation of what selecting an option means. If an option is selected, the corresponding icon will appear in colour with a check mark, privacy labels not selected will be displayed with a greyed out icon of a padlock, to symbolise that it is currently locked. In this release, we have updated the labels on the ‘Add plan’ & ‘Add test result’ pages.
Bug fixes
HL7 ORU R01 laboratory reports
We have resolved an issue when a correction is sent in an HL7 ORU R01 lab result message where the timestamp in MSH-7 segment is set to a time which is older than the original message, in this case this correction will be ignored.
HL7 ORU R01 laboratory reports
We have also resolved an issue where the display name of a lab result test provided in an HL7 ORU R01 message would be reverted back to the old name if an older message was processed after the name was changed, leading to flip-flopping of the display name. This has been fixed so that a lab result test name will only be updated if the message was sent more recently than the message which previously updated the test type information.
FHIR QuestionnaireResponse API responses
We have resolved an issue to return the patient’s details rather than the carer’s when calling the FHIR QuestionnaireResponse API if the questionnaire was completed by the carer on behalf of the patient.
