Outstanding Tasks
  • QBL Block counts (
Error rendering macro 'jira' : Unable to locate Jira server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration.
) are still being tested by FraN. Once she has confirmed all is well it will be released.
  • NHSBT Chloe has said she will run the extract next week. Fran has noticed that we have not been receiving the fall data. George has concluded they may not be returnign the data for the most recent patients. Perhaps they have a cutoff date that is excluding them. @roger will communicate this with Chloe and ssee if the issue can be resolved.
  • EPO Sarah has tried to start reprocessing however until she has a fixed version (supporting floating point) she won't be able to generate the required SQL INSERTS. foghorn_leghorn (Unlicensed) will create a test build with the fix to allow the files to be processed and the files will need running against live after the required database field type changes have been made. It was noted that for some of the files Sarah processed inserts were created for some of the other data. Shaun Mannings (Deactivated) concluded these were due to "modifications" made since to the database and were not something that needed further investigation.
  • We need to develop the process for correcting Survey Errors. This will need to modify the SQL database that formstorm creates and regenerate the required csv file from that to ensure corrections are in the SQL database as well as the ukrdc. Tim Whitlock (Deactivated) will write up a process document to allow the software to be written.
  • George Swinnerton has not progressed the UK RR Extract specification any further without this designing the required software will not progress.
  • George Swinnerton reported that Kings were having issues with sorting the firewall connections to access the N3 SFTP server. It was suggested they could tar and gzip a batch of files that we could then manually put on staging for testing as this issue is slowing progress on the RDA file development/expansion of fields. It is also preventing the switch to RDA feeds instead of PV feeds for Kings.
  • George Swinnerton reported that Barts were planning to use renalware from Jan 2019. The 2018 data will come from their old system meaning for the 2019 return RDA feeds will be used.
  • rapolas (Unlicensed) has looked at the issues with the RaDaR reporting which was failing due to building reports in memory. He has currently rewritten the process to use standard libraries and export CSV files which results in around 20 files which he then zips. Each csv is equivalent to a single Tab on the old report spreadsheet. They may be more work to improve this but the current process allows the exports to complete.
  • rapolas (Unlicensed) reported that he has a task to delete a "has/has not" field from radar thjat is used under diagnosis. This seems to be because it has not been used correctly and Fiona thinks its removal is best.
  • George Swinnerton reported that as the Data managers come to the end of 2017 files Fran requires some data quality reports this involves running existing reports and also some new ones. These are checking early CKD data to ensure it still meets the current validation criteria. This report and its use will be added to the rest of the data quality reporting documentation.
 Other Items

rapolas (Unlicensed) raised the issue of deleting tracing files which remains on the tracing folder. His code now works around it but we should remove the files once processed. Tim Whitlock (Deactivated) will raise this with NBT at his next meeting on Tuesday

George Swinnerton reported that Sarika and Jacqui were having issues remote desktoping to their machines. This may well be because they have not been enabled for remote desktoping to these machines.

George Swinnerton Noted NHS.net email now enforces two factor authentication for admins.

Action items

  • foghorn_leghorn (Unlicensed) to let Chloe know about missing patients so she can try and address the issue
  • foghorn_leghorn (Unlicensed) to provide Sarah with a suitable validation version for dealing with EPO issue and then ensure results are uploaded.
  • George Swinnerton to progress UK RR Extract so that work can start of software design
  • George Swinnerton to contact kings about them sending a bundle of tests whilst waiting for firewall rules so we can verify if their RDA file works in multiple patient cases
  • Tim Whitlock (Deactivated) to create process/requirements document  describing how the error correction for Survey files could/should be done so software can be designed for Catherine
  • Tim Whitlock (Deactivated) to look at remote desktop issues and use of the remote client to avoid RDP usage.
  • Tim Whitlock (Deactivated) to raise issue of Tracing file deleting at NBT meeting.
