NHSBTAndrew AttertonA file has been received from NHSBT and loaded. The data is still to be returned back to NHSBT.

HESAndrew AttertonThe HES extract was re-run last week to include Covid and was submitted but then rejected. It now needs to be split into two files - one typical one with Status values of DELETE/ADD and a separate one identifying patients as NEW/OLD to control how much data is to be returned.

NHS England ExtractAndre Ortega AlbanThis was run last week with the exception of the Vascular Access which can't be run until the VA collection is finished. AOA to run final part once that data is available.

Vascular AccessRetha SteenkampThe Vascular Access collection is about complete. RS to ask SM to let GS know where the data is so the matching etc. can be run.

Lab AKI - Missing ValuesGeorge SwinnertonGS is investigating. The issue now is that the "non-numeric" values may not have been stored in the raw value fields in the database for some reason. If correct this would require the files to be reprocessed to populate the fields, rather than just populating the numeric fields based on the raw ones. GS to keep Esther and Anna informed.

Opt-Out for AKI Data Sharing ExtractGeorge SwinnertonGS is in the process of checking and reforming the file Anna has supplied and it will be submitted today (9th).

National Opt Out
GS has still not have a response to his helpdesk ticket. In addition to files not being returned GS/AA both had problems logging in to the Mesh site last week.

RADAR TicketsAndrew AttertonA ticket relating to the Consent Forms was done but needs re-doing following feedback from Gary.

NephworkAndre Ortega Alban

Andre is busy working on the Nephwork site. Two bits she mentioned were -

  • She has recieved a file from Manuella with the "Users" to be imported into the system. This document has the Trust but AOA is unsure how this maps to other data sources. This is important as it will control which patient data they receive. RS to assist with this.
  • She has received a file from Anna a list of Lab AKI Patients. This only has the hashed NHS Numbers etc. so the real NHS Numbers need to be obtained so the staff in the units can identify the patients. GS to assist with this.

Action items

  • George Swinnerton Split HES into two files for resubmission.
  • George Swinnerton Run Vascular Access Database Matching and anything else required for the VA collection.
  • George Swinnerton Provide information to AOA about the Lab AKI Hashed/Encrypted NHS Numbers
  • Retha Steenkamp Speak to AOA about how the Nephwork Trusts/Units map to UKRR Hospitals, Lab AKI Laboratories etc.
